Program location: BHAVNAGAR
Purpose: To Save children from Labour and Educate
Beneficiaries: Underprivileged Children of Khedutvas
Project Status: Ongoing
Sponsored by: SNEHA FOUNDATION
The
Food for All program initiated by Sneha Foundation aims to support
underprivileged families who struggle to meet basic needs. Many children from
these families are forced to engage in labor to help fill their stomachs
compromising their education. Our program provides these families with a
monthly ration of essential food items ensuring that children have the
nourishment they need to focus on their studies and personal development.
Many
families living in slums face extreme poverty making it difficult to provide
sufficient food for their children. As a result children often have to work
instead of attending school which stunts their educational growth and future
opportunities. This cycle of poverty not only affects the children’s physical
health but also limits their ability to become contributing members of society.
The
Food for All program addresses these challenges by supplying monthly food
rations to struggling families. By alleviating food insecurity we enable
children to attend classes at our learning center without the burden of labor.
Our initiative encourages families to prioritize education helping children
realize their potential and strive for a better future.
The
impact of the Food for All program is significant. Families that receive
monthly rations report improved nutrition and a decrease in the need for
children to work. This allows more children to attend school regularly
enhancing their learning opportunities and overall development. As these
children gain knowledge and skills they become empowered individuals who can
contribute positively to their communities and break the cycle of poverty.
Join
us in our mission to nourish both bodies and minds ensuring that every child
has the chance to learn grow and thrive. Together we can build a brighter
future for all.
